Rajnikanth in Dilemma! In Trouble Again!


The superstar of Tamil Film industry is in a tight-position! Everybody is watching and waiting his decison! He has to decide which side he belongs to--whether the born and brought up place Karnataka or Tamil Nadu which provided him a great career and crowned him with the title Super Star. He is the number one paid in the Indian Film Industry and was rumoured to be Asia's Highest Paid actor also.

The issue is over Hogenakkal water scheme issue announced and started by Tamil Nadu Government. The Karnataka government protested against it. The Karnataka people destroyed the Tamil film screen and did not allow the Tamil films to play in Karnataka. They set fire for buses from Tamil Nadu.

Showing protest over the banning and violence against Tamil Film, all the artists of Tamil Film Industry announced Fasting on April 4, 2008.

Karnataka born Rajnikatha is in dilema whether to go with Tamil Film industry or to support Karanatak. Other actors are Prakashraj, Sarojadevi, Arjun, Prabhu Deva.

Super Star was born in Bangalore to Marathi parents and his first movie was in Kannada. In his Tollywood avtar, he is always portrayed as the custodian of Tamil culture, and anything else would just not go with his screen identity.

He already experienced in trouble in 2002 when all the Tamil Film actors announced strike against Cauvery issue. He was attacked for not participating in the strike but later announced a fasting to support the move.

Sarath Kumar, President of the Artists Association had made it clear that "Even those artists are who are Kannadiga by birth or by language will have to participate in the hunger strike otherwise we will not co-operate with them."

This time, Rajni is in deep trouble as the political party of Ramadoss may also be closely watching his moves!
