Simbhu Car Found, Driver Arrested!

Simbhu, who got into the issue once again, this time with hit-and-run case, said yesterday that he was in Sri Lanka shooting for his film "Silabattam."

The rumoured story was, both Simbhu and his brother Kuralarasan gone for a party and drunk heavily. They were in the car when the accident occured in which one person was killed.

Simbhu and his father denied this allegation and in the press meet said that Simbhu was in Sri Lanka attending shooting. He said, the car was yet to be found along with driver.

The police who arrested the driver when he came to his house, produced him in the court and remanded him to custody.

The driver said that he joined Vijaya T. Rajendar's family as driver around 8 months ago. Kuralarasan went to a party and asked the him to wait. He missed his friend's wedding engagement recently and wanted to catch up. So, he took this opportunity and instead of waiting, he took the car, and on the way to Chengalpattu, consumed alcohol. When he reached his friend in the night, the friend wasn not available at home. He waited and slept. When he woke up, it was morning. Fearing punishment, he didn't go home. Instead, he along with his friend, went to meet the bride. While returning, both consumed alcohol and hit a two-wheeler in which three people were travelling. One of them seriously injured. Fearing police case, the driver fled the scene and stayed away for a week.

When he returned home, police arrested him. This was the story told by the driver. Truth will be decided in the court!
